● Which SDR of HDPE fittings shall we use for the HDPE pipe in SDR13.6-PN12.5? Can we use the SDR17 fittings for our SDR13.6 pipe?
A: To guarantee the safety of piping system, the HDPE fittings shall be equal to or higher pressure rating than pipeline. So for HDPE pipe in SDR13.6, you shall take the fittings in SDR13.6 or SDR11. The fittings in SDR17 is not suitable for SDR13.6 pipeline.
